This site is owned and managed by Community Mapping, Inc. Community Mapping is a Cambridge based company dedicated to providing sound support for community minded businesses, visitors, and members. We publish the Cambridge Community Business and Visitor Map with the idea that the information provided on our map helps people, living in the area or just visiting, learn more about the community and what it has to offer. In this way we hope to aid in the maintenance of a strong and resilient community; offering support to receive support.
Community Mapping, Inc. publishes over 125,000 maps each year and distributes them throughout Cambridge; hotels, visitor centers, local businesses, and schools. In fact, over the last two years 16,000 maps have been donated to the Cambridge Public Schools to teach map reading skills to the students. The concept is that students benefit from learning about their community while learning how to read a map. The Maps front cover displays a picture from a day the students from the Charles G. Harrington School went touring Cambridge, using the Map. A portion of the Map proceeds are donated to a scholarship at the Rindge and Latin High School. Finally, The Cambridge City Council passed a Resolution on December 14, 1998 thanking Community Mapping, Inc. for the work we have been doing with the school program here in Cambridge.
